Fives North American Combustion, Inc. is hiring a permanent, full-time CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) to join our team in Cleveland, OH.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be to :

• Ability to set up and run CNC equipment utilizing Fanuc controls.
• Ability to follow work instructions by maintaining specifications, by observing milling, drilling, tapping, grooving and cutting operations;
• taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools;

adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

Ability to perform routine maintenance. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions;

troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

• Ability to read blue prints and inspect parts. Check accuracy of work against blueprints.
• Ability to work 2nd shift.
• Ability to read mics, calipers, OD’s, tool pre-setting / comparators, dial bore gauges and make proper tooling offsets in the machine tool, as well as, proper speeds & feeds.

• 3-5 years of CNC Machine operating / set-up experience.
• Background of machining of castings, iron castings preferred.
• Previous lathe and milling experience preferred.
• Associate degree from a 2 year college or technical school or 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education & experience.
